Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing real estate team in the downtown Manhattan area! The role is based in New York, New York, and will require the specialist to work onsite. The job function lies within the industry and necessitates a commitment to a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain precise records of customer credit • Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner • Monitor customer accounts and take the necessary action when required • Ensure the accurate entry and updating of leases • Manage the collection of tenant rent and security deposits • Provide support for end-of-month requirements • Responsible for posting Journal Entries • Handle cash activities and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed • Conduct bank account reconciliation and keep track of aged receivables • Utilize accounts receivables systems, specifically Yardi and MRI software, for managing and tracking billing functions. Requirements • Proficiency in using Yardi software • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Demonstrable skills in executing billing functions • Ability to manage and report on cash activity • Experience in cash handling procedures • Knowledge and use of MRI software • Familiarity with accounts receivables systems • Understanding and managing aged receivables • Experience in bank account reconciliation • Ability to post journal entries accurately and efficiently Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
