Job Description
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist with a strong background in customer service, accounting, or business. The role involves handling high-volume data entry, including bank receipts, and working closely with a senior team member. This position is a 6-12 month contract with the potential for a full-time or permanent role.
ResponsibilitiesHandle high-volume accounts receivable tasksPerform data entry, including bank receiptsProvide customer service and manage calls with internal and external customersWork closely with a senior team member and receive consistent training for over 3 monthsUnderstand reconciliations and basic accounting principlesEssential SkillsProficiency in Excel, including formulas and VLOOKUPsCustomer service experience with strong communication skillsAt least 1 year of accounting or financial experienceUnderstanding of reconciliations and basic accountingAssociates degree in business or accounting, or 5+ years of relevant experience if no degreeAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Oracle is a plusBachelor's degree in business or accounting is preferredPrior experience in a sales support position is advantageousWork Environment
This position requires working onsite with a team of 13. There is potential for a hybrid work schedule after 3 months. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a busy period at the end of the month and the first business day of the month. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
