Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary: The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data.Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.Verify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues.Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.Assist with month-end closing processes.Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. High School Diploma required. Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role.Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
