Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a client of ours located in the Middlesex County, NJ area. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be tasked with maintaining customer communication to resolve discrepancies, managing accounts receivable spreadsheets, and handling cash entries. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, including invoicing and scheduling payment plans. Responsibilities: • Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Oversee the management of accounts receivable spreadsheets • Execute cash entries as part of the accounts receivable process • Maintain constant communication with customers to resolve any discrepancies • Handle invoicing and coordinate payment plans with customers • Monitor and manage approximately 150 to 200 accounts • Engage in daily collection calls, with an estimate of 25 to 30 calls • Ensure the accurate maintenance of customer credit records • Oversee cash handling activities and billing functions Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role within the manufacturing industry • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Demonstrable experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Prior experience in managing cash activity is required • Proven skills in cash handling is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
