Description A client of ours in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, located in The Woodlands, Texas, are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will primarily be tasked with managing customer accounts, processing various memos, and dealing with customer inquiries. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. • Review and send out customer statements regularly. • Handle a high volume of debit and credit memos monthly, aligning with contractual agreements. • Oversee customer inquiries related to payment status and account information. • Submit invoices through electronic platforms such as ADP Open Invoice and Ariba. • Keep all customer files up-to-date and well-documented, ensuring adherence to standard procedures. • Monitor customer accounts, including their addresses and contact information, across various documents. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in Accounts Receivable or a related field. • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations is mandatory. • Demonstrated experience in Billing procedures is required. • Familiarity with Open Invoice and Ariba software is expected. • Must have a solid understanding of Credit Memo processes. • Experience in Collections is essential. • Prior experience in the Energy/Natural Resources industry is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail is expected. • Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
