Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Construction/Contractor industry, based in Hoover, Alabama. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be tasked with maintaining our financial health by managing and resolving outstanding accounts receivable issues, overseeing payment processing, interpreting insurance scopes, resolving billing disputes, and maintaining detailed records of account activities. Responsibilities: • Manage and resolve outstanding accounts receivable issues • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the processing of payments and updates to customer accounts • Review and comprehend insurance scopes & estimates for managing accounts involving insurance claims • Address and resolve billing disputes and customer inquiries, working closely with sales and customer service teams • Maintain detailed records of account activities and generate reports on the status of receivables • Ensure compliance with legal requirements in all accounts receivable activities • Deliver exceptional service to customers while resolving account issues, maintaining a detail oriented approach • Collaborate with the accounting department to reconcile accounts and manage discrepancies.
