Description We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a client in the Galleria area of Houston. This is for a 3 month contract position. Key Responsibilities + Invoice Management: Process client invoices and ensure accuracy in billing. + Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable balances and ensure proper documentation of customer payments. + Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts, investigate billing discrepancies, and negotiate payment plans as needed. + Reporting: Prepare and maintain AR reports, including aging reports and collection forecasts. + Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with company policies, accounting standards, and legal regulations. Requirements + Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related finance/accounting role. + Software Knowledge: Proficiency in [specify relevant ERP/accounting systems, e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle] and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. + Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a customer-focused mindset. + Adaptability: Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
