Accounts Receivable Specialist
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist at our location. This role is pivotal in our finance team, focusing on invoicing and managing receivables for multiple agencies with a commitment to accuracy and timely processing. Responsibilities: • Efficiently submit a range of invoices with supporting documentation to various agencies ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Collaborate effectively with county billing representatives to facilitate smooth communication and prompt invoice submission. • Keep track of submitted invoices and follow up with agencies for proper processing and payments. • Handle a high volume of invoices weekly, including those with significant backup documentation. • Ensure monthly contract billings are compliant with contract terms and billing guidelines. • Contribute to the transition to SAGE Intacct by adopting more efficient, automated billing practices. • Work with internal teams to gather necessary backup documentation, ensuring invoice accuracy and completeness prior to submission. • Regularly update the AR supervisor/manager on the status of outstanding receivables, aging reports, and any issues encountered with billing processes. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems to manage financial data and generate reports. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services to streamline payroll and other financial operations. • Familiarity with CRM systems to manage customer interactions and data. • Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to integrate and manage core business processes. • Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. • Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage outstanding balances and ensure timely collections. • Ability to perform Billing Functions accurately, including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation. • Experience with Cash Activity monitoring to ensure proper cash management and control. • Proficiency in Cash Handling to ensure the accurate and safe processing of cash transactions.
