Description Job Overview: A client of ours is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling various aspects of the accounts receivable process, including payment application, customer account management, and collections. Key Responsibilities: + Apply all payments from bank sources (lockbox, ACH, wire transfers) + Apply payments received through online banking systems + Generate and send customer statements on a monthly basis + Set up and maintain in-house customer accounts + Manage centralized email inbox for Accounts Receivable communications + Perform collections activities in a professional and effective manner + Handle light intercompany billing tasks + Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable transactions + Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing issues Requirements Qualifications: + Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related field is preferred + Strong knowledge of payment processing systems (bank ACH, wire transfers, online payment platforms) + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other office software + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills + Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customers + Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks + Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously + Experience with collections is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
