Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Sepcialist  will support the Accounts Receivable department's efforts by ensuring full compliance with  policy, procedures, and the  timely posting and documenting  of payments received. 

 

Ability to communicate with verbal and written proficiencyPost payments received from the branchesSubmit credit card deposit data to the NYOTransmit our remote deposits to BOACompile the collection sheets for checksScan in paid tickets to DocuXplorerAnswers accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows upPerform other activities as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements, Abilities and Skills:

Associates degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited university or college preferred.Minimum of 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience.Previous experience in credit & collections, and billing systems.Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational and reporting skills.Industry experience preferred (i.e. Wholesale Distribution with foreign/domestic supplier mix).Exceptional organization skills and ability to follow through on commitments.Exhibit exceptional customer service to internal as well as external customersAbility to effectively manage tasks Advanced Experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is requiredMaintain and promote workplace safetySecuring and transferring cash or other assets.
