Description A leading organization in Carlsbad is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: + Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections. + Process and reconcile customer payments accurately and in a timely manner. + Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer billing inquiries. + Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to reduce delinquency. + Assist in month-end close processes, including AR reconciliations and reporting. + Work closely with internal teams to maintain accurate customer accounts and ensure compliance with company policies. Requirements + 2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and strong Excel skills. + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. + High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. + High school diploma required; an associate degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
