Key Responsibilities + Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and payments. + Monitor accounts receivable balances, track overdue accounts, and initiate collection efforts as necessary. + Reconcile customer accounts to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy. + Prepare and distribute detailed accounts receivable aging reports for management. + Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service, etc.) to address client inquiries and billing issues. + Apply incoming payments to appropriate accounts and codes, ensuring proper documentation. + Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including AR-related journal entries and reporting. + Maintain organized records of customer accounts, invoices, and payment histories in compliance with company standards and policies. Requirements + Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar accounting position. + Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and general accounting principles. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and MS Excel. + Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. + Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. + (Preferred) Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
