Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer invoicing, process payments, and address customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and be proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite. ResponsibilitiesManage customer invoicing.Take and apply deposits by credit card or ACH from customers and apply to their account.Respond to customer and employee inquiries promptly and professionally.Assist customers and internal departments with service billing questions.Perform weekly payables cycles to generate checks and electronic payments to vendors.Apply payments received from customers to their account.Communicate and escalate issues as appropriate.Handle special projects and other accounting-related duties as requested.Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable.Proficiency in invoicing.Experience with AR systems (QuickBooks preferred).Proficient with MS Office Suite.Excel (beginner to intermediate level).Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent from a two-year or technical school.Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new methods, processes, and system changes.Exceptional attention to detail.Highly organized.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills.Work Environment

This position is based in an office setting located in Warren, MI, and is fully in-office. The role is part-time, working approximately 25 hours per week, from Monday to Friday around 12 pm to 5 pm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
