Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to become part of our team. This role is based in our office in Detroit, Michigan and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts, processing credit applications with accuracy, and handling customer inquiries with efficiency. Responsibilities • Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure accuracy • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner • Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency • Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records • Carry out billing functions as required • Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) skills to enhance financial operations Requirements • Possess strong proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Demonstrable experience with Billing Functions • Excellent understanding of general accounting principles • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Experience with accounting software is highly desirable • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred • Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
