What You’ll Do (Your Impact) As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in our financial operations by keeping customer accounts accurate, up-to-date, and in alignment with company policies. Your day-to-day will include: + Efficient Payment Processing: Apply customer remittances with accuracy, ensuring smooth operation of account payments and balances. + Software Expertise: Work within JD Edwards to manage and track all incoming payments seamlessly. + Data Analysis: Use Excel tools (think VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables!) to analyze customer payment trends and balances. + Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients via email to resolve billing issues and follow up on outstanding balances, all while providing top-notch service. + Proactive Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues within customer account balances, ensuring reporting accuracy. Requirements What You’ll Bring (Your Expertise) We’re looking for someone who’s as passionate about what they do and brings previous account reconciliation experience to the position. + Strong Attention to Detail: You double-check your work and take pride in producing accurate results. + Highly Proficient in Excel: You know your way around formulas, and can organize large amounts of data. + Tech-Savvy: Experience in accounting software like JD Edwards or a related system is a huge plus. + Problem-Solver: You proactively troubleshoot account discrepancies and propose solutions with ease. + Customer-Focused: You can maintain professionalism, even when discussing sensitive financial matters with clients. + Adaptable: You thrive on managing multiple moving pieces and working with diverse, large-scale customer accounts.
