Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry, located in Los Angeles, California. This role focuses on providing accounting and administrative services, ensuring efficient, timely, and accurate billing, reconciliation, and application of payments on customer accounts. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment.
Responsibilities:
• Promptly and accurately process customer receipts and prepare bank deposits.
• Establish and uphold consistent communication with clients.
• Generate and execute billing, cash management, and reporting activities aligned with specific deadlines and client contract requirements.
• Thoroughly investigate and resolve client queries and requests.
• Maintain an up-to-date billing system.
• Analyze client data and activities, preparing monthly metrics to update management.
• Assist with accounting month-end closing and year-end closings.
• Develop a recovery system, initiate collection efforts, and process adjustments as necessary.
• Reconcile customer account details for non-payments, discrepancies, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
• Uphold accurate accounts receivable customer files and records. Requirements • Possession of strong skills in Account Reconciliation, with a proven ability to manage and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR), with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments.
• Demonstrated experience in Billing, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Experience in Cash Applications, with the ability to process payments and reconcile transactions efficiently.
• Proficient in Cash Collections, with a focus on maintaining positive customer relationships while ensuring timely payments.
• Experience in Commercial Collections, with the ability to manage large accounts and negotiate payment plans as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and generate reports.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, with the ability to manage customer relationships and track interactions effectively.
