Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in accounts receivable or a related field. Key Responsibilities: + Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner + Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments + Reconcile accounts receivable records to ensure accuracy + Process and apply customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions + Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer inquiries + Prepare and distribute aging reports and other AR-related financial reports + Collaborate with internal departments to improve collection efforts + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software + Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures + Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Requirements Qualifications: + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) + 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities + Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
