Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team the in Englewood, New Jersey. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with documentation standards. Responsibilities: • Oversee the management of invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Handle collections duties, liaising with clients as necessary • Process payments, receipting, and applications promptly and accurately • Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues • Ensure compliance with documentation standards and procedures • Execute high-volume invoicing tasks • Perform various accounting functions related to accounts receivable • Manage billing functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions is required, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. • Must possess advanced skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), including management of outstanding balances and overdue payments. • Experience with Billing Functions is necessary, including the preparation, distribution, and tracking of invoices. • Prior experience in Collections is crucial, with the ability to liaise with clients regarding outstanding payments in a detail oriented manner. • Ability to handle High-Volume Invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment. • Expertise in Payment Processing, including the handling of various payment methods and processing software. • Strong skills in Account Reconciliation, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
