Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in UTICA, New York. The position functions within the industry of financial services. The selected candidate will join our team in a workplace that values attention to detail and organization. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the entire billing process, ensuring that all funding sources are billed within the specified time restrictions for services provided. • Receive and post payments promptly and accurately, monitoring cash activity closely. • Record and reconcile billing data monthly, using a comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principles. • Review and report various general ledger accounts related to the function. • Utilize advanced accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools for efficient and accurate work. • Manage cash responsibly and accurately as part of daily tasks. • Understand and adhere to agency, human resource, and department policies and procedures in the execution of duties. • Demonstrate proficiency in using financial services tools such as ADP and CRM. • Utilize Epic Software for various accounting functions. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
