Description of Position:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This position involves managing the daily accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate billing processes, and maintaining customer account records. As a part-time role with flexible hours, this position is perfect for candidates seeking work-life balance while contributing to a collaborative and efficient finance team. Key Responsibilities:
+ Generate and send invoices to customers on a timely basis
+ Track and apply incoming payments, ensuring accurate updates to customer accounts
+ Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or disputes promptly
+ Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all AR transactions and correspondence
+ Communicate with customers regarding overdue payments and collections
+ Provide support to the finance team with additional accounting tasks as required
Requirements

To be considered for this role, advanced candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
+ Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
+ Advanced Accounting Software Skills: Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
+ Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with customers and the finance team.
+ Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve discrepancies and disputes quickly and efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate account reconciliation.
+ Time Management: Capacity to prioritize and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
+ Customer Service: Strong customer-facing skills, including a professional approach to overdue payments and collections.
+ Adaptability: Willingness to support the finance team with various tasks as required.
+ Attention to Detail: The ability to ensure accuracy in all aspects of the accounts receivable process.
+ Independence: Proven ability to work independently and manage day-to-day operations with minimal supervision.
