A busy company in the Fairfield, NJ area is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to a growing team. The ideal Accounts Receivable Supervisor will have prior experience in the consumer product industry and have prior experience with chargebacks/deductions. Other responsibilities of this Accounts Receivable Supervisor will include bt not be limited to:
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately process incoming payments from customers.
• Oversee the management of accounts receivable using multiple systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing and resolving any issues proactively.
• Monitor customer accounts on a daily basis, contacting customers with overdue balances.
• Handle any chargeback activities related to Purchase Order (PO) violations, documenting and disputing them promptly.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial regulations in managing the Accounts Receivable function.
• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures for accounts receivable processes across the organization to ensure consistency and manage cash flow.
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in accounts receivable processes, possibly through automation or adoption of best practices.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improvement by analyzing financial performance and key performance indicators related to accounts receivable.

Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in handling chargebacks and related functions
• Demonstrated competency in Accounting management
• Strong leadership skills with experience in a supervisory role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using accounting software and tools
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
• Ethical conduct and integrity in financial management.
