**Job Summary:**
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Clinical:** The primary responsibilities of this position are dedicated to providing patient assessment and care in the Adult and Adolescent Congenital Heart Disease and General Cardiology programs. This position will be required to participate in the inpatient and/or cardiology consult service at UCHealth and Children's Hospital Colorado.
+ **Education:** The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is a teaching institution, and this faculty member is expected to provide mentorship and direction to students, residents, and fellows.
+ **Research:** The division encourages research and scholarly activities. Administrative support is available for grant submission and financial management.
+ **Administration:** Administrative duties may be assigned to this position in support of the Division's initiatives and faculty development.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
**Assistant Professor:**
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD), Cardiology/ACHD
+ Board Eligibility ACHD with a Special Competence in Adult Congenital Heart Disease
+ DEA certificate
+ Ability to obtain CO medical license
+ 0-6 years of clinical experience, interest in pursuing academic promotion
**Associate Professor:**
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD), Cardiology/ACHD
+ Board Eligibility ACHD with a Special Competence in Adult Congenital Heart Disease
+ DEA certificate
+ Ability to obtain CO medical license
+ 6 or more years of clinical experience
+ Prior experience with program development, teaching or research
+ Examples of scholarship
**Condition of Employment:**
+ **Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado**
+ **_Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check_**

_The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as_ **_HIRING RANGE:_**
_Assistant Professor: $300,000_

_The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt._
