**Job Title: Acme Gridley/Multi-Spindle Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Acme Gridley/Multi-Spindle Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will independently set up and operate machinery to manufacture parts to customer specifications while adhering to company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. This position requires a strong work ethic, a sense of urgency, and the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and assist in repairing Acme Gridley machines in mechanical and pneumatic areas. **Responsibilities** + Independently set up and operate Acme Gridley/Multi-Spindle machines. + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery. + Maintain, troubleshoot, and assist in repairing mechanical and pneumatic components of the machines. + Read and understand mechanical and pneumatic blueprints; ability to read electrical blueprints is a plus. + Use measuring equipment such as dial indicators, height gauges, micrometers, etc. + Communicate necessary information to Management, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, other production departments, and fellow employees professionally and courteously. + Complete all paperwork neatly and legibly per proper procedures (routing card, tool change logs, count sheets, etc.). + Properly identify parts and enter production data into the manufacturing information system. + Keep the work area neat and orderly, ensuring floors are clean and free of oil and chips. + Perform daily safety inspections on equipment and use proper machine guards and lifting techniques. **Essential Skills** + 1-5 years of Acme Gridley/Multi-Spindle experience. + Ability to read and use gauges, such as micrometers, indicators, thread gauges, etc. + Must have own tools. + Ability to read and understand blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Fanuc control experience. + Knowledge of Gibbscam, Solidworks, and CAD. + Experience with first article inspection. + Proficiency in using optical comparators. + Experience with vertical and horizontal machining centers. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs. continuously. + High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school a plus. **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive salary along with an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, profit sharing, a 401(k) retirement plan with a company match, wellness incentives, and more.
