Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Acquisition Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to provide acquisition planning and execution support to the Modeling and Simulation – Production (MDA/DES-P) Directorate.

What You'll Be Doing:

Coordinate with internal MDA contracting officials on future and ongoing contract acquisition activities

Assist the MDA/DES leadership in developing acquisition strategies for future acquisitions

Develop acquisition products for future acquisitions such as acquisition strategies, Fair Opportunity Proposal Request (FOPR), and acquisition schedules

Develop acquisition products such as Technical Direction Letters and Technical Instructions for ongoing acquisition projects

Provide analysis on current acquisition activities to include financial data tracking of accruals, obligations and expenditures

Applying the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) to future and ongoing acquisition activities

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

MS/MA with 12+ years of experience in financial work or BS/BA with 20+ years of experience in financial work in the Missile Defense System domain or other complex DoD program/project

Active DoD Secret Clearance

Working knowledge of FAR part 15 & 16

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, TEAMS)

Working knowledge of Milestone Professional software

Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical audience, both orally and written

Understanding of the MDA organization

Understanding of Contracting Officer Representative responsibilities

Salary Range: 

$104,200.00 - $182,400.00
