What You Will Do:

Join a high-performing acquisition logistics team supporting U.S. Air Force acquisition and sustainment programs. This position is for an Acquisition Logistics – Senior Consultant for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. Duties include applying knowledge and experience in Life Cycle Logistics, policies, and procedures to acquire and sustain Air Force weapon systems, subsystems, acquisition programs, and product support strategies throughout their life cycles.

Acquisition Logistics responsibilities include the following:

Weapon system sustainment planning and execution, product support management, sustaining engineering, and depot maintenance planning

Development of Life Cycle Acquisition documentation

Analysis of key supply chain and maintenance metrics

Developing product support strategies utilizing the Integrated Product Support Elements

Conduct Root Cause Analyses on various acquisition processes

Performance Based Logistics (PBL)

Contractor Logistics Support (CLS)

Product Support Business Case Analyses (PS BCA)


What You Will Need:

Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Federal of DoD security clearance

Bachelor's Degree

FIVE (5) years work experience in a field relevant to the logistics functional area

THREE (3) years of experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects

The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
