Axient is seeking an Acquisition Program Financial Management Specialist to support our customer in Huntsville, Alabama
What you will do...Responsibilities:
Provide professional support and technical assistance to Government customer for daily business operations in support of the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Army Audit Readiness efforts.Knowledgeable of the Army Joint Reconciliation Process (JRP) and ability to understand and track Accounts Payable, Open Commits, Unpaid Obligations (UPOs), Unfilled Customer Orders (UFCOs) and Accounts Receivable actions.Provide Audit Readiness support under the guidelines set forth by the Assistant Secretary of the Army Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA FM&C) and the ability to research and obtain Key Supporting Documentation (KSD's) in support of program office audit samples.Research Unmatched Transactions (UMTs) to include Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs) and Unmatched Collections (UMCs) and work with DFAS to have items corrected.Pull, format, and analyze Business Intelligence (BI)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) reports for tracking against established financial metrics.Pull and track Intermediate Document (IDOC) Interface Error Reports for systems to include: DTS; SPS; LMP; FCM; AXOL; ATAAPS; and DCPS and coordinate resolution efforts.Consolidate/Compare/Identify Anomalies from data/system reports to meet corrective action requirements, i.e. IDOCs, UMTs & Unliquidated Obligations.Familiar with BobJ and BI reports to obtain Contract and Labor actuals from ATAAPS to produce reports for international team.Able to create and update labor and travel requirement reports based on Title 10 and Title 22 program work loads Skills you will need...Requirements:
Active Secret ClearanceBachelor's degree in a related field and over 3 years of relevant experience OR 10 years relevant experience without a degreeCandidate must possess expert-level knowledge of GFEBS and understand Army accounting processes.Understanding of Army processes for Title 10 and Title 22 funds including Foreign Military SalesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data and translate findings into easily interpreted reports or briefings.Candidate should have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to clearly communicate with all levels of an organization, including senior military and government civilian personnel.Ability to think strategically and be comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment.Exceptional attention to detail.
