What you'll do

In this role, you will work with the program to identify all contracting actions and required information related to the execution of the program. Provide expertise in contracting fundamentals, legal considerations, overhead management, contract pricing and source selection planning, tracking and execution. You will support program reviews for contract performance and industry partner execution. Develop and update reoccurring contract reports, as needed, as well as, Plan and conduct the contracting process from the description of the requirements through contract delivery. Other responsibilities are listed below: 

 

Support integration efforts with other contracting personnel to identify and resolve problemsCoordinate and prepare all contract related documents, review the contract language for relevancy and appropriateness, make recommendations to PM regarding contracting strategies, as requiredSupport long-range contracting planning for assigned projects and the preparation of program briefings for higher headquartersEvaluate or monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligationsProvide support in the areas of contract monitoring, tracking suspense, current contracting processes and procedures, recommend improvements, develop briefings, research and provide contract policy guidance and regulationsEvaluate requests from contract specifications and delivery schedulesAssist in arbitration of claims or complaints occurring in performance of contractsAssist in analyzing price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of pricesExperience working with pre-award and post-award procedures  What you'll bring Master’s Degree (four-year college or university) in an Acquisition/Government related field or equivalent combination of education and work experienceTen or more (10+) years in acquisition and contractingActive Secret Clearance Strong understanding and experience with large, complex IT projects and organizations Able to analyze information from multiple sources to compile a complete, holistic solution with easePossess knowledge of pre-award and post-award procedures Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to comfortably interact and provide recommendations to high-level commanders/executives in a conservative mannerExcellent customer service and project management skills A commitment to your profession demonstrated by participation in providing support, guidance and memberships in professional associationsA desire to join some of the most capable and experienced telecommunications and engineering professionals in the industry and contribute to the ongoing growth of our venture together Why you'll want to join us
