Amyx, Inc. is looking to hire a Acquisition Management and Contract Support Specialist Subject Matter Expert to support our DOE client in a hybrid capacity (3 days on site at DOE HQ). The SME will support the Amyx customer at the DOE NNSA with contracting needs, from conception of the requirements, through award, to post-award management "cradle to grave". Mastery of contracting methods and contract types to plan and carry out long-term preaward and/or postaward actions is a must. Knowledge and skill sufficient to procure systems, services, and/or products where little or no contractual precedent exists to serve as guidance in developing or modifying procurement strategies.

Responsibilities Provide consulting services on contract management and acquisition management, to include but not limited to, pre-award and post-award functions.
Perform strategy planning, provide best practices, guidance, insight and consulting on acquisition and procurement strategies and processes.Provide support in drafting market research strategies, preparing market research inquiries, and analyzing market research results.Provide consulting services with processes related to post-award functions, including contract administration (e.g. exercise of contract options), terminations, closeouts, and highlight any significant issues requiring Government action.
Provide SME guidance with the integration of C-SCRM requirements into OCIO’s procurement and acquisition process(es).
Provide SME guidance, evaluation, and suggestions for improvement on the OCIO FITARA processes. Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study with at least 7 years of experience (or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience) within the field required including initiating, planning, developing, executing/managing, monitoring, controlling, and closing large-scale programs, including service delivery contracts and mission critical programs and directly supporting complex federal government acquisition programs/projects. Possess a high-level of emotional intelligence to ensure successful integration and team oriented dynamic. Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products. Ability to determine if the Contract's procurement is in compliance with the FAR/related acquisition and procurement policiesAbility to evaluate all official contract file documentation to determine the incorporation of meeting the FAR standard and agency standards towards effecting sound business judgment.Possess five to seven plus years of experience in Government contracting, acquisitions, and procurement.
