As Georgia’s public safety net, DBHDD operates six field offices and five hospitals throughout the state within three program areas: behavioral health, developmental disabilities and hospital services. The main office for DBHDD is located in downtown Atlanta. Job Description Job Title: ACT/CST/ICM Program Specialist Pay Grade: I Job Summary: Under the direction of the Office of Adult Mental Health Director, and direct supervision of the ACT and CST and ICM Program Manager, the ACT and CST and ICM Program Specialist is responsible for: · Participation as team member in the provision of program monitoring for all 25 ACT providers, 10 CST providers and 15 ICM providers statewide, · Collaboration and revision in ACT and CST and ICM Policy Development, ACT|CST|ICM Tool Kits, · Facilitation of Clinical Operation Meetings and Fidelity Reviews; o implement on-site and or remote Clinical Operation Meetings and Fidelity Reviews, o comprehensive report development, o exit interviews and follow-up for ACT and CST and ICM providers, o ensuring completion of designated fidelity review tools and/or assessments at scheduled times, via observations, o interviews and record reviews aimed at assessing the quality of the ACT and CST and ICM service provision, environment, health, behavioral supports and community integration of the individual, · Coordinate statewide travels (80% job responsibility) for resolution of service delivery concerns, training, providing resources, conducting fidelity and clinical operations, etc. · Collaboration with internal DBHDD staff and external DBHDD partners, · Facilitation of ACT and CST and ICM Provider Coalition meetings and Office Hours to ensure consistency of services across the State, · Provision of policy development and implementation and technical assistance and training regarding D.A.C.T.S. model and DBHDD service delivery expectations · Receive and review Monthly Programmatic Report data and develop data reports reflecting program personnel, program enrollment, etc. Be able to analyze the data and provide recommendations and a plan to implement those recommendations · Collaboration with data analyst for ACT and CST and ICM data collection, analysis, management and quality assurance functions, · Collaborate on recommendations for programmatic and/or operational changes based on fidelity review, audit or survey results, clinical operation meetings · Collaboration to ensure adherence to provider’s Corrective Action Plan · Participation in provider follow-up visits for provision of technical assistance and consultation to remedy any identified issues or support needs not being met, · Facilitate trainings and meetings are requested · Create presentations for provider network as requested · Communicate and Collaborate with all state and regional DBHDD staff and outside stakeholders · Complete other duties as assigned by Manager or AMH Director · Must be able and willing to travel Preferred Qualifications • Experience performing program evaluation, program monitoring, data analysis, • Experience with oral presentations and report writing • Experience with provider relations • Experience with clinical case study consultation • Demonstrated organizational skills, time management and adaptability • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills • Effective Interpersonal skills • Knowledge of D.A.C.T.S. model of ACT • Knowledge of Evidence Based Practices (EBP) within Mental Health • Knowledge of DBHDD Adult Mental Health services • Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in a human/social service related field • Demonstrated experience providing training/technical assistance • 3 years’ experience working in mental health services and/or education Benefits In addition to a competitive salary & benefits, GA Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is part of a statewide initiative called Total Rewards that seeks to attract and retain employees by supplementing their base pay and benefits with programs designed to improve the quality of their work environment and lead to greater job satisfaction and work/life balance.
