Position Summary:

The Woodward Programs Manager is an integral member of the Woodward Tahoe leadership team who will execute on programming needs during winter and summer programming including camp and public operations. This person will have thorough knowledge of all Woodward programs, products, and services to ensure overall guest and staff satisfaction. This person will also hold an integral role in the programming side of the ACA compliance. The Woodward Programs Manager will assist in administrative tasks such as onboarding and training documentation, staff scheduling and payroll. This position, works directly with the Director of Woodward. This role hires, trains, develops and oversees program staff to ensure that the most progressive industry standards in coaching techniques are achieved. The Woodward Programs Manager is responsible for overseeing all summer camp programming from staff, camper and parent relations, and maintain a budgeted for payroll and program needs along with the Director of Woodward.

This is a full-time year-round position with a robust benefits package including Flexible Time Off, matching 401k, Health Benefits, Annual Bonus Incentive Program and a proposed annual salary of $ 68,889.60.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

● Develop and implements programs and best practices to ensure the safety of our guests and employees

● Prepares accurate schedules for efficient and effective staffing levels for year-round business as it relates to

programming needs

● Manage labor in line with the budget and business volume

● Works in collaboration with the WW leadership team to recruit, hire, and train staff including any required

documentation with CAL/OSHA and ACA compliance

● Supports the summer camp registration process including hiring/onboarding/training of staff

● Develops potential partnerships with diverse groups

● Work closely with Boreal and Soda Snowsports teams to develop the WW integration model

● Facilitates collaborative discussion with other teams to deliver on the Woodward mission of inclusivity and discovery

● Develops, schedules and implements special event programming, group bookings and outreach programs (Chill, Revert,

Project Lifelong etc.)

● Supports marketing with partnership activations, VIP’s and summer camp pro management

● Supervise Bunker and Camp program staff with a focus on employee engagement, development and morale

● Support coaching and counselor team by planning, assigning, and directing work as well as reviewing performance on a regular and consistent basis

● Oversees the teaching of air-awareness and trampoline and tumbling safety

● Assists with staff payroll through Workday

● Assists with guest research programs (NPS). Review and develop action plans, and engage staff with guest research result

● Provides effective, timely, and transparent communications to staff and guests

● Ensure the highest level of service to all guests
