ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: TelevisaUnivision Local Media Los Angeles is currently seeking for a dynamic Activations Technician (Part-Time/Regular) who will be responsible for technical and promotional activities. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be bilingual, and have a flexible schedule. The Activations Technician will be responsible for setting up of promotional items, banners, tables, tents and sound equipment for remotes, special events and station appearances. Interface with clients, listeners, and general public during off site promotional activities. Remote technicians must be able to collaborate creatively with the Sales & Promotions staff. The Activations Technician will be responsible for setting up of promotional items, banners, tables, tents and sound equipment for remotes, special events and station appearances. Interface with clients, listeners, and general public during off site promotional activities. Remote technicians must be able to collaborate creatively with the Sales & Promotions staff. YOUR DAY-DAY: + Set Up & breakdown radio station promotional activities (community events/branded station events/concerts/remotes/van hits) + Conduct on-air announcements in Spanish from remote or appearance locations + Conduct database collection – Set Up Ipads & Download data collected + Assist the On-Air Talent and Sales Executives with on-site requests, contests, prizes etc. + Attend regularly scheduled Promotions Department staff meetings. + Provide customer service by ascertaining the client needs before any event. + Greet listeners and distribute prizes to winners. + Maintain, organize, and perform routine inventory of all promotional remote and station equipment. + Assist with news production + Coordinate the set-up, and teardown of station remotes, appearances, van hits and conduct on-site contests, games and other promotional activities as needed. + Create station/remotes/appearances recaps + Abide by organizational norms, support organizational goals and help foster collaboration and teamwork. + Other task assigned by supervisor YOU HAVE: + Must be highly motivated, assertive, creative, and proactive + Must have excellent interpersonal/customer service skills + Must be able to lift up to 50-70lbs + Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record + Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays + Basic knowledge of MS office, Excel, Outlook and internet search engines + High School graduate, or equivalent + Previous experience in similar position + Social media skills + Must be willing to work from office in Los Angeles, CA + Must be willing to submit to a background investigation + Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States + Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish (read, write, speak) + Social Media content creator Univision is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
