**CTG is seeking to fill an Active Directory Engineer opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 12 months **Overview:** The Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Operations Team delivers and supports all the foundational technology used across our company. Supporting Two Data Centers, 1 Service Desk, 14,000 Distributed platforms, 24 Mainframe Regions, and processing approximately 635,000 automated jobs per month, this team provides innovative and compelling technology solutions to enhance the internal customer experience, enabling business partners to deliver. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Lead the migration of SSO configurations from PingID to Entra for SSO across various applications. + Collaborate with application owners, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and secure migration process. + Develop and implement migration strategies and plans, including risk assessments, timelines, and resource requirements. + Configure, test, and validate SSO settings and integrations in Entra for each application in accordance with enterprise standards. + Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the migration process, providing timely resolutions. + Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices throughout the migration. + Document migration processes, configurations, and any changes made during the project. + Provide training and support to application owners and IT staff on the new SSO configurations in Entra. + Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SSO technologies and cybersecurity trends. **Scope of Responsibilities:** + Lead cross-functional teams in implementing and migrating technologies. + Troubleshoot and resolve 2nd and 3rd level technical issues related to Active Directory and Entra ID configurations. + Maintain and optimize a complex, enterprise-level Active Directory environment. + Manage vendor relationships and handle license management. + Assist with business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and compliance audits. **Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:** + May provide guidance and support to junior technical staff or peers. + Facilitate training sessions for internal teams regarding new technologies and procedures. **Education and Experience Required:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 4 years of highly related experience in lieu of a degree. + Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in a technical engineering role involving operational upkeep, optimization, and feature expansion of a complex enterprise deployment of Active Directory or Entra ID (Azure Active Directory). + Experience in 2nd and 3rd level troubleshooting, vendor relationship management, and platform maintenance. **Education and Experience Preferred:** + Relevant technology or security certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, ADDS, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, etc. + Experience with directory services integration, including Azure AD and third-party identity providers. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $78,000 to $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
