Activities Aide CNA

Ellicott Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a motivated and energetic Activities Aide to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player and have strong computer skills!

A CNA license is required!!

Duties:

Implement activities programs for Residents; focus on individual interestsWork directly with Residents on units; without direct supervisionOrganize and obtain supplies and equipment as requestedAssist recreation specialists & set up program areas as neededKeep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activitiesAssist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate unitsBe familiar with established emergency procedures

Requirements:

Experience with activities in a healthcare setting a plusPreferably bi-lingual in Spanish (not neccessary)Previous experience with geriatric population preferredStrong computer skills necessary Positive attitude and energy is a must!!Ability to work effectively as a team member
