FutureCare is excited to open our second location in Anne Arundel County, FutureCare Annapolis. We are looking to hire a group of outstanding leaders to help build the team that will operate this new location. The facility is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar upgrade project with a goal of opening for business in late spring of 2025. FutureCare Annapolis will be licensed as a 154-bed skilled nursing facility serving the post-acute and long-term care needs of the community. Our goal is to establish our new facility as a premier provider in Anne Arundel County.
FutureCare Annapolis is situated in the suburban Annapolis area near a development called Heritage Harbor which is just a few minutes from downtown Annapolis, Maryland and has easy access to major travel arteries. The center will provide ample parking, attractive common areas, and an expansive rehabilitation gym and suite. Patient rooms are spacious with high ceilings. When the renovations are complete the center will be stunning.

Responsibilities Lead all activity programs throughout the facility within established budgetary guidelinesPromote positive relationships with individuals, businesses, and organizations in the community through outings and activities provided by volunteersMaintain the activities calendar of events to provide a variety of resident and family centered experiencesMonitor and prepare the department budget and financial statements to meet revenue and budget targetsResponsible for hiring, coachig and retaining a high performing activities teamAbide by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan Qualifications Must have atleast 2-3 years of experienceCertified in the field of Therapeutic Activities or Activities preferredMust be able to work occasional weekends, holidays, and eveningsKnowledge of special needs and limitations of elderly and disabledKnowledge of methods and techniques used to include residents and involve them in activitiesMust possess patience, compassion and excellent communication skills as well as a cheerful dispositionKnowledge of federal, state, and accreditation standards related to the provision of an Activities programEqual Opportunity Employer
