The Activities Manager is responsible for creating, organizing and implementing Activities for all age ranges to enhance the Guest experience. The Activities Manager is responsible for developing a seasonal live music and entertainment package to increase in-house capture ratios and increase local patronage from the surrounding areas. Implement weekly and monthly events involving F&B outlets to improve top line revenues and create a local and in-house following during all seasons.
Responsibilities Responsible for developing and implementing activities that appeal to a wide range of personalities and ages.Responsible for needs assessments to determine how often activities will be offered, how seasons will affect these activities and what space is available for participants.Coordinate and research possible activity ideas, trying or sampling new activities and evaluating them as needed. Lead and implement all activities. Work with the DOSM on all marketing initiatives for events and promotions.Responsible for creating an activity schedule that reflects the resorts’ needs. These activities should vary to ensure they appeal to as many as possible. Must communicate activities to resort’s guests. They may need to update websites and tablets, produce newsletters or make calendars to highlight specific events. Additionally, the director of entertainment may send out invitations, publish brochures and update signage. May need to supervise other recreational staff members, as well as being responsible for their training.Ensure overall guest satisfaction.Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
