All the while, you will receive comprehensive benefits that invest in your future. **A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 9:00AM - 9:30PM.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide Therapeutic Programming assessments, written treatment plans, programming and ongoing notes in conjunction with the overall treatment objectives for a given patient. + Design, research and implement therapeutic interventions to address designated needs of the patients. + Assess and document the patient's attendance and evaluate participation in therapeutic interventions. + Attend and contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings. + Demonstrate effective group leadership skills in the treatment of patients and adapting the group (task, environment, time, location) to changing patient or staff needs. + Complete routine paperwork within prescribed time frames and accurately document all pertinent and meaningful observations and information on appropriate forms. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy, Art Therapy, and/or Expressive Therapy + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and WELLE De-escalation training within 90 days of hire + Master's Degree for Art Therapy candidates Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Registered Art Therapist (ATR) or Registered Art Therapist Provisional (ATR-P) Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
