Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with large and complex data sets, including both financial and healthcare data Perform data analysis and financial modeling Summarize and communicate results to management Produce reports to government and regulatory entities Provide support on core actuarial functions such as forecast, reserving, and pricing
Minimum Requirements:
Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Will not require sponsorship for employment Eligible to work in the U.S. Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from an accredited school Knowledge of project management concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
Students currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program, or an accredited Master’s degree program in Math, Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related programs Strong analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point Advanced Excel skills – pivot tables, v-lookup, graphs/visuals Basic knowledge of programming preferable (ex. SQL, Python, VBA), including ability to create queries and analyze data setsHiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $39,208 - $52,000
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,091 - $49,920
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
