JOB SUMMARY:  Assist in all aspects of pricing life and A&H insurance business including competitive analysis, experience analysis, assumption setting, and state filings. Uses necessary software (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SQL, GGY Axis). 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Performs fundamental actuarial tasks for life and A&H insurance product pricing, assumption setting, experience analysis, reserving, modelling, and state filings.   

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: 

Minimum 2 years insurance industry experience, preferably in group life and/or A&H Passed 2+ exams, actively pursuing Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA)

Strong math aptitude and business sense Detail oriented and highly organized Effective written and oral communication skills Strong analytical skills  Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Reliability to achieve quality, accuracy, and timelines of work products

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or other related degrees
