Aetna International insures members around the world, including 6 continents and over 170 countries. The business is experiencing rapid growth creating a unique opportunity to increase market share by expanding product offerings and targeting new cohorts of business. This role will oversee a broad range of key business elements, lead high impact projects to analyze and improve our competitive position in the market, drive business growth through new product offerings and pricing strategies, and collaborate with various business units and levels of leadership. Some of the key responsibilities will include: + Assess risk in innovative ways, convert data and analytics into actionable business insight, and present analysis to leadership. + Present information in a way that multiple levels within an organization can understand and utilize to make appropriate decisions to meet business objectives. + Serves as project manager and/or participant on selected project(s) (such as rate review process and trend reviews) + Collaborate with other functional SMEs to complete strategic assessments, meet deadlines, and achieve goals. + Influence Tool Development to improve efficiency and accuracy. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree along with 3+ years prior experience + Prior actuarial exams passed (or ASA) + Prior healthcare industry knowledge + Strong consultative and analytical skills, as well as the ability to collaborate within/outside of the Actuarial Department + Typically works independently and manages projects. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Advanced skills in Excel, MS-Access and Web-based query tools (MCM, data warehouse). Ability to learn new technologies. + Demonstrates critical thinking and expresses ideas clearly, concisely, and logically from a cross functional perspective. + Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently. + Demonstrates initiative, innovation, and leadership in achieving results. + Prior experience in pricing or finance related role **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $203,940.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
