**Description** PeaceHealth is seeking a Acupuncturist- Hospice for a Part Time, 0.80 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $30.83 – $46.23. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. **Job Summary** Provides individualized, safe and efficient care to patients working within the scope of practice as an Acupuncturist. Assesses symptom for appropriateness of acupuncture, administer treatment, and evaluate response. Works collaboratively with all other healthcare team members toward the best outcomes for the patient and the organization. Details of the position + Assess patients who may benefit from application of evidence-based acupuncture. + Provide or arrange appropriate interventions consistent with hospice policy, physician orders and the interdisciplinary plan of care. + Administer acupuncture when ordered by a physician to alleviate symptoms and distress in the final stages of life. + Accurately assess and communicate patient/family progress and needs to others involved in care. + Performs other duties as assigned.
