Acute Care Coordinator (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

Monitor and direct a high-volume mental health access line of individuals who are seeking mental health supportScreen and schedule patients appropriately based on their specific needs in a professional and courteous manner.Data entry into EHR systems in a timely and accurate mannerMonitor multiple systems at once.Daily updates on all Acute Care Dashboards and Trackers.Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.Maintain professional behavior.Maintain positive working relationships with all IPS staff.The Intake Coordinator will assume tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or designated IPS staff.

Requirements:

High School diploma with a minimum of two years experience as unit clerk/ patient service coordinator in a hospital setting.Ability to effectively triage calls from providers to ensure appropriate assignment.Excellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work as a team memberAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyEmpathetic personality giving attention to patient’s needs and concernsStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to maintain productivity in remote settings under minimal supervision

Typical working demands:

This hybrid position will be heavily based on technology, including but not limited to computer, web applications, and phone. Candidates must reside in Ocala, FL or the surrounding area. 

This position requires:

Sitting and looking at a computer for long periods of time. The ability to hear a normal range of voice. The ability to prepare written reports utilizing Google docs, other various platforms as well as telephone equipment.

What we offer:

A competitive rate ranging between $16-$18 an hour.Benefits include medical/dental/vision/401K, PTO.Consistent schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.

IPS will supply the required technology for the position, laptop, headset, phone, etc. The employee will be responsible for a remote working office space.
