The role you’ll contribute:

To provide leadership and accountability in the strategic and daily operations of the clinical service. Developing and maintains excellent physician and associate relations, accountable for the quality of patient care provided by the nursing service. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and evaluating all functions of the service to include quality, administrative, and financial outcomes. Oversees the delivery of patient care and has the responsibility for establishing standards of nursing practice for the service and the nursing professional practice for AdventHealth as a whole. Assure achievement of department, nursing division and hospital goals as well as adherence to hospital policies and standards set forth by accreditation and regulatory agencies. May provide leadership over other departments that collaborate with nursing for care of the patients served.

Directs the development of strategic and operational programs for the service area.

Plans and implements established departmental and service policies and procedures which compliment nursing division and hospital policies and procedures.

Establishes and maintains satisfactory customer and public relations through direct or delegated contact.

Develops and maintains a “service excellence” environment and achieves “completely satisfied” customer satisfaction scores.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Bachelor Degree in Nursing

Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing BSN required only if Masters degree is not in Nursing.

Master Degree MSN or other Master’s degree.

Four years of progressive clinical leadership experience.

Registered Nurse State of Employment

RN license to practice in CO or KS as applicable.

Nursing Specialty Certification

Certification in Specialty required within 1 year of hire or transfer.

Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
