Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full-time opening for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner experienced and interested in Pulmonary Critical Care.   

 

Position Details:

 

Full time; 7pm-7am.  Rotation will be 7 days on and 7 days off.    Evaluating and managing critical care patients. Answering Vocera messages and incoming phone calls Completing history and physical examinations on critical care admissions.  Electronic Medical Records. Requirements Needed to Apply:

 

Active Texas license Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification Critical care and pulmonary background are required. Degree in NP studies from an approved NP program Interest and experience as a critical care NP are highly encouraged to apply

 The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.

 Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

 

The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

 The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only
