You'll have...         

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or a related field  2 years of experience in the position offered or 2 years of experience using Automotive Component or Subsystem Product Development tools and processes.  2 years of experience applying engineering specifications, design validation, failure mode analysis, 8D, and FEDE 2 years of experience performing project management using MS suite 2 years of experience performing Product Definition and Offer (PDO) and buildability.  Employee reports to office in Dearborn, MI. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.

We are offering a salary of $87,260 to $170,216 per year.

What you’ll be able to do: 

Perform ADAS system validation signoff and coordinate efficient prototype usage. Collaborate across cross-functional teams to review and accurate ADAS related configuration settings in modules including IPMA, BCM, ABS, APIM, IPC, etc. on all programs. Perform ADAS interface reviews with cross-functional teams such as powertrain, chassis, driver information, body control, and gateway module. Define and review Vehicle Specific Configuration Specification (VSCS). Coordinate any required updates to all modules such as ECG, TCU, Sync, ABS, PSCM, Cluster, PCM in addition to ADAS. Verify and understand vehicle specifications for complete feature validation. Interact with Strategy and Planning, Marketing, Core, Applications, Vehicle Operation, and Service. Provide hands-on troubleshooting for Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) and/or configuration issues. Perform requirement evidence analysis, DVP&R checks, system FMEA's, and all interfaces to the ADAS ECU and components.
