Throughout the 13-month placement, you will have the opportunity to work on the reimbursed _and_ direct-to-consumer sides of the business, supporting the respective brand managers across a variety of marketing initiatives. This role will be based at our Maidenhead site. Thomas, a current intern, has said "My time at Abbott has been an exciting beginning into healthcare marketing. I’ve received guidance when it comes to applying my studies, with real responsibilities whereby I have recently been part of a team to develop advertising across the travel network to drive awareness of FreeStyle Libre and I look forward to seeing how this internship sets me up for my career in marketing." **Main Accountabilities** + Conducting competitor analysis + Developing materials to support campaigns (concept to execution) + Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media, direct mail, and web) + Supporting with budget management **What are we looking for?** This opportunity is suitable for a student studying towards a degree (Bachelors or Integrated Masters) in a Marketing or Business-related topic and would form part of a year in industry requirement. You will be confident at working independently as well as part of a team, demonstrate a creative flair whilst balancing this with ability to work in a process-based environment, and offer a people-focused mindset. Throughout the placement, you will have regular opportunities to learn, develop, grow and of course gain continuous feedback, coaching and mentoring to further support your learning.
