A day in the life
We are primarily a Windows server shop, using HyperV for virtualization, but in recent months our scope of infrastructure expertise has broadened from bare metal hosts/VMs to solutions that run on Native AWS Services. Our team has a core function of ensuring Lenel application and system stability, often diving deep to trouble-shoot common issues, as well as anomalies, working closely with our partners. On a day-to-day basis, we strive for engineering and operational excellence through patching, and other security compliance activities, along with deploying scripting/automation solutions to build servers and monitor their performance.
