About this role:
As an Advanced Practice Provider in Psychiatry, you will provide medication assisted treatment for individuals with substance use disorder via telehealth and in-person patient visits. This position is part of a grant-funded program with the objective to reduce barriers in access to care for individuals with substance use disorder in Utah. Specifically, this program focuses on providing care to individuals who are historically underserved, such as those who are uninsured or underinsured. One to two years of experience in addiction medicine, and experience working with underserved populations is preferred.

What you’ll bring:
One to two years of experience in addiction medicine, and experience working with underserved populations is preferredNP requirements:PMHNP-BC required.MSN or DNP with Post graduate certificate in psychiatry and mental health if specialty other than psychiatryPA in Psychiatry requirements.The PA must obtain and maintain a Certification of Added Qualification (CAQ) in psychiatry from the NCCPAHave a doctorate level education – DMSC for PAsHave a post-graduate certificate in psychiatry and mental healthComplete post-graduate residency (clinical hours) in psychiatryComplete 10,000 hours of clinical practice in mental healthActive, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one BLS certification and DEA Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basisAbout us:
