Innovate and develop new adhesive and sealer technologies for enhanced structural integrity.Guide the technical direction for the development and application of new materials, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.Lead cross functional teams to develop new materials and joining / bonding applications that deliver future strategic solutions Benchmark competition and develop advanced projects to ensure Ford is best in classClose cooperation with CAE team for the development of simulation methods and joint cardsFeasibility assessment of program-specific material combinations during the development phasePlanning, execution, and evaluation of adhesive & sealing joining trials with new materials and/or joining processes in internal and external laboratories in alignment with cross-functional teamsLead projects from concept through to launch, ensuring timelines, quality, and performance standards are met.Sign-off Adhesive and Sealer related requirements at key program milestonesLead/participate in solving production issues with manufacturing and cross-functional teams; these include and are not limited to: Stop-Ships, Field Service Actions, Warranty, Material ShortagesDrive continuous improvement in the supply base
