Overview
An experienced medical educator to teach Anatomy and Neuroanatomy to first year medical students on the Middletown, NY campus. TouroCOM faculty use an innovative “flipped” classroom approach to delivering the curriculum and students in the human anatomy lab learn through a combination of classical cadaver dissection, the study of plastinated models, and a custom designed holographic 3-D anatomy system.
Responsibilities
+ Parti cipate in assessment of student performance through appropriate examination methods) as assigned
+ Promote an appropriate atmosphere for student education and be responsive to students' need
+ Serve on TOUROCOM committees as
+ Advise and mentor students
+ Participate i n medical student admission interviews
Qualifications
+ Applicants must have at least a MS degree in Anatomy or a related field
+ PhD, DO or MD degree is preferred.
+ Exceptional teaching at the medical school level in the areas mentioned in the job responsibilities section, have experience designing anatomy and neuroanatomy instructional materials, and work well with the rest of faculty team.
