Adjunct, Applied Behavior Analysis
Overview We offer a BACB-approved course sequence for students who are seeking the BCBA, and will also offer students eligibility for the New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst credential. The successful candidate will be expected to support our growing student population through teaching, advising, collaborating on research initiatives, and will work in collaboration with other programs within the department. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to the following: + Teach a minimum of one graduate level courses in MS and Adv. Certificate programs + Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts + Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data + Support students’ learning goals by: + Focusing on student learning outcomes + Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students + Becoming familiar with academic and social support + Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences + Maintaining the academic integrity of the college + Being available to assist students in achieving their learning goals Qualifications Education, Preparation, and Training + Doctoral degree in in behavior analysis, education, or psychology.
